Cast your minds back to the World Cup of 2014.
Remember, the USA were busy turning heads.
Drawn in a group with an impressive Ghanaian team, Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal and eventual winners Germany, few gave Jurgen Klinsmann's side a chance of reaching the knockout stages. To the surprise of many, they did - and took Belgium to extra time before eventually being knocked out in the last 16.
The American fans that travelled to Brazil were rightly impressed with their team, making everyone they came into contact with well aware of their confidence in their team's ability with a certain (slightly cringeworthy) chant...
This will jog your memories...

Over two years on from the World Cup, those that tuned in for the opening day of the Ryder Cup at Hazeltine were horrified to learn that the American spectators had rolled out the chant once again as they willed their golfers on at the first tee.
