He may have missed out on an NBA championship with Cleveland but the move back to the Cavaliers wasn't all that horrific for him, considering the money it helped make Nike.
A report on Cleveland.com showed that, since James' homecoming, sales for his signature shoe stood at $340m - and that was back in March before the playoffs - over a 12-month period.
James' return back to the Cavs helped a rise of 13 per cent for his shoes and they said there was no place for good marketing in this world either.
Campaigns like this spine-tingling video helped bring in the green. And now they can pat themselves on the back for a job well done.
