Sky Sports apologised to their viewers on Thursday night for a gesture Gerwyn Price made in his match against Jose de Sousa.
Price cruised into the quarter-finals with a 4-1 victory against his Portuguese counterpart at the PDC World Darts Championship at Alexandra Palace.
The number one seed was seen pulling a face and making a gesture that could be perceived as offensive by disabled viewers after a failed 180 attempt.
After missing a third successive triple 20 shot, the Welshman turned to gesticulate in frustration, sticking his tongue behind his bottom lip and holding his hands out in front of him.
Many people were left shocked by 'The Iceman's' behaviour on the stage and the 37-year-old came in for criticism on social media.

It's the latest in a series of recent controversies at the tournament after Michael van Gerwen was criticised for turning down a match dart against Mensur Suljović while Ross Smith waved at Dirk van Duijvenbode from off-stage before going on to lose.
