Pics: Cricket Ireland unveil their kit, and new sponsor, for the upcoming World Cup

In a little over three weeks, Ireland's Cricket World Cup campaign will begin when they play the West Indies in Nelson. We already know the squad that Phil Simmons will have at his disposal and now we know what their gear is like. Released today on the Cricket Ireland Twitter account (@IrelandCricket) it is made by O'Neill's. They started with the hats...

It was also announced today that the team would be sponsored at the World Cup by Tourism Ireland. Niall Gibbons, CEO of Tourism Ireland, said: ‘We are delighted to be associated with the Ireland cricket team and such a high profile tournament. Our sponsorship of the team in this year’s Cricket World Cup offers us a unique opportunity to highlight the island of Ireland to a huge global audience.
