North Melbourne's Lindsay Thomas pulled off a magnificent leaping mark during his side's clash with Gold Coast at the weekend.

Thomas got some serious hang time by essentially using an opposition player like a surf board before gathering the ball in the air.

The amazing mark did come at a price though Thomas came crashing down to the Earth in a heap. It may be a small price to pay for what will almost definitely be a contender for mark of the year.
