It was one hell of a career.
At the ripe age of 40-years-old, Derry's Enda Muldoon has decided to retire from football.
It has been an illustrious career for the Ballinderry man which involved some amount of achievements.
- 1 All-Star in 2004
- 1 Ulster senior title in 1998
- 1 All-Ireland Club Championship in 2002
When you think of versatile players, Muldoon is one of them, playing midfield, half forward and full forward and was part of moments that will go down in Derry folklore such as scoring his side's second goal against Tyrone in 2006 to beat the reigning All-Ireland champions.
But it's time to go for Muldoon, posting on his Twitter on Monday evening he said:
"After 23 years of playing senior football for Ballinderry the time has arrived for me to hang up the boots. The pleasure was all mine."
