An absolute bevvy of Irish sports-lovers invaded the upper decks of Petco Park to cheer on the local Padres team as they took on the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Such was their raucous level of support that they caught the attention of the broadcasters covering the MLB encounter.
One commentator joked that they were 'soccer hooligans' while his co-commentator remarked, 'They may have had a beverage or two.'
